Quinn Ila Reid

Quinn Ila Reid (she/her or they/them) is a writer, podcaster, and technologist living the Champlain Islands of Vermont. They are bi-gender, which in their case means that they shuttle back and forth between male and female modes.

As a writer, their credits include short stories and articles in publications like Strange Horizons, two Writers of the Future anthologies, Daily Science Fiction, Clarkesworld, The Writer, Communities Magazine, Nature, and others. Their short, usually humorous plays have been performed in small venues around Vermont and elsewhere, and they are the author of the subculture slang dictionary Talk the Talk: The Slang of 67 American Subcultures, originally published in 2006. In 2022, they were co-recipient of a Locus award for founding the online writing group Codex.

Quinn is also a musician, a dancer (swing and ecstatic dance), and a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan.

In addition to acting on the show, they write, direct, produce, do the audio engineering, compose and record music, and manage publicity.
