Quinn Ila Reid

Quinn Ila Reid (she/her) is a writer, podcaster, and technologist living the Champlain Islands of Vermont. She is a trans woman who previously identified as bi-gender.

As a writer, her credits include short stories and articles in publications like Strange Horizons, two Writers of the Future anthologies, Daily Science Fiction, Clarkesworld, The Writer, Communities Magazine, Nature, and others. Her short, usually humorous plays have been performed in small venues around Vermont and elsewhere, and she is the author of the subculture slang dictionary Talk the Talk: The Slang of 67 American Subcultures, originally published in 2006. In 2022, she was a co-recipient of a Locus award for founding the online writing group Codex.

Quinn is also a musician, a dancer (swing and conscious dance), and a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan.

In addition to acting on the show, she writes, directs, produces, does the audio engineering, composes and records music, and manages publicity.
